Elevate Academy is an educational pole vaulting academy providing clinics and coaching for driven athletes. We believe in creating a supportive environment for all athletes to improve their abilities as a pole vaulter. Our mission is to develop athletes into leaders on and off the track, administering the tools and training necessary to achieve the athletes’ goals, no matter their current skill level.
If you’re a serious pole vaulter, just getting started, or want to know more about the sport, Elevate is for you! We offer training in all aspects and levels of pole vaulting.
At Elevate Academy, you will strengthen your athletic ability, grow your knowledge of the sport, and rise above the standards in the pole vault.
Elevate Academy is coached and directed by Britainy Short. Coach Short pole vaulted at The University of Alabama from 2013 to 2018 and finished out her collegiate career in Eugene, Oregon at the NCAA Championships. In 2019, she began her coaching career at Spain Park High School in Birmingham, Alabama and ended her time there in 2021 with a state champion. Now, she has brought her expertise to Tuscaloosa, ready to train with you at the Sam Bailey Track and Field Stadium.
